I got this cymbal as my first "real" cymbal (I had been using B8s and ZXTs before). When I got the 16", it was amazing. It sounded MUCH better then my Zildjian ZXT crash. I would reccomend this cymbal for any type of music, Rock, Punk, Metal, Jazz, anything. Very, very versatile. On to the features. It is a very nice product (but what would you expect from Sabian)! The quality is great. I doubt it will break anytime before you have it about 3-5 years, if not longer. It is priced resonably, but I wish nice cymbals like this were cheaper. You do end up getting what you pay for though! Overall, its amazing, but theres one thing that surprised me... It is very quiet live and in band practice! I play like at small clubs a few times a month (I'm 15) and when I hit this cymbal, it seems to just dissapear. Sabian's claim is that it is loud, and sometimes it can be, but most of the time it just ends up not getting heard. This is a problem. Other than that, this cymbal is great. I highly reccomend it to anyone. Please, support Sabian.

      SAbian AA medium crash 16'

Comments about Sabian AA Medium Crash Cymbal:

I bought this (medium 16' brilliant) cymbal about a week ago and I was amazed right when I pulled it out...it looked amzing. It was a big upgrade from my old B8 crash. I threw it on my set and liked the sound much more than my old crash. It rings really long and has a nice low sound. Buy it!

Comments about Sabian AA Medium Crash Cymbal:

This crash is amazing! It hasn't cracked at all or dented at all. Its just amazing! I'm a heavy hitter so its more than amazing! the sound to it is beautiful, its not a heavy sound, or a broken sound. It more of a fading sound after you hit it.

      The Reason For The Madness

      By Nemo McBrain

Comments about Sabian AA Medium Crash Cymbal:

I'v been playing AA cymbals for Years and have had great pleasure in doing so. I use to play Zildjian A's,then I gave Sabian a try. I never went back.As for Skins from MI. and A. Sheldon from Joisey, who gave the AA symbals a bad review. Do you know how to hit a symbal ? or do you just bash the snot out of them, sounds like the latter. BUY AA's YOU'LL LIKE THEM if you dont abuse them.

      Didn't last...BEWARE!!!!

      By Skinz

Comments about Sabian AA Medium Crash Cymbal:

I haven't played much at all on my AA sabian 17" medium crash and it already developed a crack halfway between the edge and the bell. What a major disappointment considering the price. I won't waste my money on an AA crash ever again.

      Sabian AA 18

      By Tyler Maxson

Comments about Sabian AA Medium Crash Cymbal:

Heavy, almost like a rock crash, but with a quicker decay. Good all-around cymbal, just a little too heavy for my tastes.

      Nice!

      By Roscopeecotrane

      from Alabama

Comments about Sabian AA Medium Crash Cymbal:

I have been playing this cymbal for over a month now. It is a little dark but is sounds great. The bell is awesome on the 18" and when crashed on the edge hard it is really really loud. I love it! It sounds way better than my Zildjian A thin crash. Try it, I think you will like it especially if you crash ride a lot and crash bell ride for accents.

      AA crash

      from Undisclosed

Comments about Sabian AA Medium Crash Cymbal:

I have owned this crash for 4 years, and it still sounds like a brand new crash. It can be used as a ride, too, for some lighter jazz stuff. Overall, a GREAT crash.
