I just got these cymbals Yesterday. Used Them One Time At My Church. These Are The Best Cymbals I have Ever Used. They Are Dark, But Bright At The Same Time. The Hi Hats Are Crisp. It FitS Who I am As A musician. I think the Evolution Series Is  Far The Best Brand made Right Now. Fits Any Style Of Music.

i just got these a couple of days ago. i've used mainly zildjian since "the beginning", with a couple of sabians thrown in for texture, but these. WOW! an amazing combination of trashy, and bright. i absolutely love them, and recommend them unequivocally. the bell on the ride cuts very nicely, and one can get any variety of sounds out of it. pingy with the tip of the stick, big and washy on the shoulder. it could be used as a crash. the 18" ozone is quite trashy, with bright overtones. the 16" is the lowest pitched 16 i've ever heard. the hihats are very bright. the bottom hat is extremely heavy. i'm very pleased with these. even the lead singer was smiling. he didn't know why. "something about those cymbals".

I am a newcomer to drumming. I didn't want to waste my time with a bad quality kit. I got these cymbals for my PDP kit and they are amazing. They will produce a different tone if you hit them with the shoulder or tip and depending on how you play. The most musical cymbals I've ever heard. I play with a band now and they've never heard cymbals like this. The only downfall in my opinion is the ride will really sing. It's a little too pretty for my style, but it is still amazing. The bell sounds amazing. The Ozone is my favorite. The hats are musical, but don't lose their rude tone for playing rock at all. Best investment I've made so far. They have the cut to get through the mix without throwing off the groove.

I've been playing drums for over 40 years, I've bought a lot cymbals, so the first thing I can say about the Evolution line is that is that they are a great value. I have used them in many situations from studio, live concert and just jamming with friends. These cymbals produce a sound like no other. I don't have to lay into them to them to get the sound I want. They react to a just a soft tap with the drumstick. It's awesome, that's what I love about them. I've had other drummers say "What is that cymbal ?" If I do lay into it with a hard crash, it produces a bright and shimmering sound that dies out fast so you can continue on. Don't pass these up and wish you had gotten them sooner.
