A single pedal capable of double action.
It features a Splitboard (a footboard split into 2 independent sections). The larger upper portion controls the right beater; the smaller heel portion controls the left. Each operates independently with its own cam and springs. The beater cams can be individually adjusted without changing the board positions.

I tried it out in store today, and I loved it. The heel - toe movement is very natural, and altough there are axis longboards, this makes things a lot more natural, plus you don't have to find the mid weight, since it is clear where it is. The beaters should have been both the black plastic as well as the cushion, but it is just to switch the heads
If you have'nt tested this or just heard about it, your votes did'nt count for squat!!! Whose a fool out here not me!!! This pedal deserves some highest marks in the single to double pedals category. First, the timing reqires a heal of professional tuch; practice time pays big rewards unless, you are a beginner, you'll want to listen carefully. The extra's needed for trigger moves (sighted in earlier reviews)are a cool feature. The action is well balanced and a hit of heal first provides a more direct contact application as research proves that push force is better than pull. Unlike the dualist then, forward foot tap press or even drop style works the action for well timed incredible punctuative speed, a smooth, springy control pendulum swing cantering even and often reputaged at short, uses reliable cams that rotate precisely at attack. Mixing this unit or even adjustments with time or math count beats with a DW 9000 (right Bass)was quite too awsome. Signiture accents (right)and style (left Sonor)created with ease left no thrashed and brain bashed prisoners alive!!! This bullistic pedal is a rock spring fire breathing dragon out to stomp kill both the loosers and the winners of pedals. Mastery in competing for that rush tempo "speed" acceleration music composition, as like Dream Theater demo's may provide insight as well as many other ultra fast Pro demonstrations seen recorded by us and those looking for a truely perfect tool at the highest peak performance level. Comparison data to match ours by 7 other panels with a results curve overall proved this one #1. You can't compare any other. Just as Three is better than Two, my Masters of the pedal arts speak wisdom once tried and tested.
I've played with it its pretty cool.Like most new pedals it will take some adjusting and most of all getting use to. This is my personal opinion if you have the money go for it but my name says how fast my foot is on a single for me theres no use for it its not worth it you can do a lot with the single by the time you learn to master it.

I watched JoJo Mayer use this pedal. I decided to try it, and was pleasantly surprised. It has a very smooth flow, and the sound is never diminished. Very good idea.
This pedal is an excellent auxiliary pedal, especially for left foot clave/cowbell effects used in many Latin styles. It will take some time get used to unless you are fluent in both heel up and heel down playing. It?s worth your time if you are looking for some new ideas for sound possibilities. Also works well playing ostinatos for drum ?n? bass/electronic music. Consider how much more you could free up your hands if you use this on an electronic trigger to play fast patterns your hands usually play; this gives you the ability to play instruments from a click track live and still use your hands for anything else. It is worth the time and money if you are, or aspire to be a fluent drummer that can ?sit in? on any gig.
As a drummer i have to say it's a good concept. BUT, it's hard to get power hits and do them fast when you fling your heal back and your foot forward. For the same money you could get a Dualist which does single and a double also (except the pedals alternate on the up down motions when set to double.) I wouldn't use this Sonor pedal personally, but hey: to each their own.
