This product works as described. Note one thing, THERE IS NO PRODUCT THAT YOU CAN WIPE ON AND WIPE OFF!, unless you want to try acid, but who has a vat of that laying around. Younger crowd listen up!!, put some elbow grease into it, let it turn black, then with a clean cloth, buff off for a show room shine. Veterans that have done what I just mentioned... use the mothers speed ball on a variable speed drill. Just becareful not to sling it on ya self!! When I was younger I used to use a product called "Brasso". Let me tell you, I used to rub my "asso" off! This product by Zil is modern day. Put some work into it and appreciate the payoff and be proud of what you can accomplish instead of looking for an instant fix!! nuff said!
Simply put...it works!
Middle of the road here...might consider marketing a bigger bottle for first time users...first time you've cleaned them you're gonna use some!

Comments about Zildjian Cymbal Cleaning Polish:
I tried it on my ZBTs and it worked alright. There are problems: my cymbals turned silverish and it leaves black residue. It takes a bit of elbow grease to apply it and if you go around the logos, the area around them is darker than the actual cymbal. I dunno.
Comments about Zildjian Cymbal Cleaning Polish:
This stuff is amzing, and you dont have to use much to clean your cymbals. I've had the same bottle for about 9 months now, and its still about half way full. I clean mine every week. And a lil dab on a wash cloth or rag will clean alot, i clean 2 crashes, splash, mini and 18 china ride and hi hats. and use about a little less than a palm full, but make sure to clean it from the bell to the edge! works the best so you dont get residue marks, but great product!! Now only if it weren't Zildjian...
Comments about Zildjian Cymbal Cleaning Polish:
this stuff is awesome, i used this other cymbal cleaner called, "Groove juice," on my zildjian 16 inch a custom and it discolored the cymbal and it looked like absolute crap! then i used this stuff on it and boom it was like magic it was shiny as ever and the horrible discoloration was fixed! i just wish this stuff came in a larger tube or something cause it's awesome
Comments about Zildjian Cymbal Cleaning Polish:
I play A Zil for ride and hats and Sab's for crashes. I have used thr cleaner as wll as BarKeeper's Friend. BarKeeper's Friend is more abrasive and will clean deeper. I use it to clean when they get really bad and then polish with the Zil polish. I bought a cheap 6 Blak & Decker orbitol buffer and get a bright new look shine, forget logos with this technique they go away quickly. But if you nee a logo to appreciate your cymbals quality then elbow greas away.If you really want a shine use McGuire's paste wax or consider clear lacquer.wax deepens or darkens the sound a little and lacquer will shorten decay a little. When played alone you notice the change, but in the mix it isn;t noticible at all.I enjoy the brilliant shine much more than a logo,Iknow what I play and their quality, most in the audience haven't got a clue.
Comments about Zildjian Cymbal Cleaning Polish:
I bought this one day just for the heck of it. Then, one day I tried it out to see how good it is. My Dad helped me, he passed his Zildjian A's down to me. We cleaned them and he said he's never seen them looking this nice since he's had them. So, if you want your cymbals lookin' MIGHTY FINE, GET THIS!!!
Comments about Zildjian Cymbal Cleaning Polish:
As some reviewers have noted, this polish works amazing on A Customs. But the people that have said it turns their cymbals black are also correct. Groove Juice works far better on my K Custom Dark Ride (despite Zildjian's claim that this polish is recommended for K Customs). Groove Juice shines it better and doesn't leave black residue.I recommend buying both items the first time around to see what you like better. My guess is that high sheen cymbals like A Customs will respond best to Zildjian polish while more traditional finishes will take groove juice. It's also important to realize this is a polish - which means you'll have to scrub a bit. If you care about your labels, don't scrub them with the polish.
Comments about Zildjian Cymbal Cleaning Polish:
Makes my A Customs look like new. Great stuff, fast and easy. Been playing 44 years and remember when all we had was Brasso, elbow grease and old towels. Wish it could work as well as it does without fading the logos. Wonder why Zildjian doesn't come up with lettering media that won't fade with cleaner use. Could it be planned obsolescence?
