Comments about Zildjian K Constantinople Medium Ride Cymbal:

Right out of the box I was impressed with the craftsmanship and then played it. I am a Paiste man and needed something that would work with small Jazz settings . all my other cymbals are much liver and this was perfect. And it was slightly used??? seemed new to me Great for the discounted price of 440, a steal. If you are a thrasher this is not the cymbal for you, but if you play with finesse you would be happy :)

        Jazzer's unite!

Comments about Zildjian K Constantinople Medium Ride Cymbal:

I'm a jazz guy, and of course the Constantinople line is a standard product division in the world of Jazz drums. This cymbol exeeds expectations way beyond what I thought it had capable. A perfect left side cymbol, with its mellow undertones and clar, complex but mellow bell, and great crashability, but also a good primary ride for small ensemble stuff...for rock, as a crash ride maybe, but ur risking breakage..but for jazz...its the bee's knees.

Comments about Zildjian K Constantinople Medium Ride Cymbal:

I use this cymbal when I want a mellow sound with good stick definition. These cymbals sound amazing! They're too quiet (in my opinion) for rock, but when the dynamics die down and you want a warm sound, this cymbal is money.Again, you get what you pay for. I play mine hard and have no signs of cracking. I guess I'm lucky.

        Not very good...

Comments about Zildjian K Constantinople Medium Ride Cymbal:

This cymbal looked great, and sounded decent, until 5 min after playing it a large chunk came out of the bell. later on in my session, the cymbal got a huge crack up the middle, and has since split in half.... not a good deal

        THE jazz ride.

        By

Comments about Zildjian K Constantinople Medium Ride Cymbal:

For Jazz/ big band. If you need a ride that has a huge wash full of exotic tone and character, this is the ride. Mild bell takes a hard stick to ping, and the result is always a lot of washing undertone. A first class instrument for sure, and sure to be a classic.

        Best Ever Period.

Comments about Zildjian K Constantinople Medium Ride Cymbal:

This ride cymbal is simply the best cymbal I've ever played. I own the 22'' Medium Ride, which I mainly use for jazz, but one day for a gig, I had help packing up the kit (I own two kits for jazz and rock) And someone grabbed this cymbal instead of my K Heavy Ride. I used it as a rocking ride, and it was amazing again. I crashed it, rode it, played the bell and it was amazing. Best ever!!!

Comments about Zildjian K Constantinople Medium Ride Cymbal:

please do not be decieved by a potentially bad sound in a music store, walk 20 feet away and let some one else hit it and bask in the cymbals glory. great ping with a balanced attack that opens up limitless windows of possibilities. great for jazz (of course) but blues and fusion also fit nicely into the list. just like almost every expensive cymbal, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and this is worth every dime.
