Features:

This cymbal pack has a nice variety of extremely versatile cymbals. I've been able to play a lot of extremely varying genres with them.

Quality:

When you see and feel and hear these cymbals, you can tell they are of amazing quality. The craftsmanship is amazing, and they are quite beautiful to even look at.

Value:

For the price of this pack, I can't really think of a better value. These cymbals are much more expensive if you were to buy them separately. I was so excited when I heard about this because it screams value for a top of the line product.

Overall:

I LOVE these cymbals. I got these just last night, but I had some time to check them out thoroughly.

The hi hat might be my favorite part of the whole ensemble. Beautiful, crisp pedal response, extremely warm open sound with just the right amount of wash.

The 16 inch crash is probably my favorite of the two crashes. Both sound phenomenal when you swell on them, but the 16 inch has a great attack with a nice quick sustain for emphasizing. The 18 inch roars deep but quickly as well. I could easily see metal drummers enjoying it just as much as anybody else. I wouldn't hammer on it all day though, because the crashes are thin. However, despite being thin, they feel and look strong. Constructed very well.

The ride could be the only gripe I have with the whole set, and mind you it is only a matter of preference. It is a little too washy for my taste, but it sounds beautiful. I did a cymbal swell on that bad boy with a pair of mallets and it made my heart smile. With sticks you can even manage a decent crash sound out of this, but I wouldn't recommend it. This cymbal was designed for jazz, and for that reason, I will still enjoy it and likely not sell it. The sound is a little washy, and there isn't much bell articulation at all. What I am probably going to do is keep this, and also buy back the K Heavy Ride I had to sell long ago. THAT ride is indescribably beautiful. Perfect ping, perfect balance of wash, and great stick definition.

All in all, this pack is a GREAT all around cymbal pack, no matter what genre you play.
