A pack of 3 blues harps specially made for 2nd-position note bending that give the blues its signature sound.

The Hohner 532 Blues Harp Pro Harmonica Pack contains 3 of Hohner's professional-level MS Blues Harps in a package that saves you some cash while offering you harmonicas in the popular keys of G, A, and C.

Dig in deep and experience the raw power and grit of the blues. The Blues Harp is engineered for consistent volume and tone that's ideal for intense blues playing. This harp can hang with the toughest players on their most serious gigs. It's highly bendable and has a dirty, dark, hard rockin' sound. One of Hohner's classic models, this blues harmonica is designed to emphasize the best qualities of blues harmonica playing. The Blues Harp features a wood comb and thinner reeds, allowing for easier note bending. It's favored by musicians like Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Lil' Ronnie Owens of the Grand Dukes and is known for its power and tone.

These Blues Harps come in sealed "blister packaging" that has several advantages. As the harmonicas are sealed, they are guaranteed to have never been played or tampered with. Additionally, there is useful product information on the package card, for example, a key chart telling players which key of harmonica to use for certain songs if they wish to play in crossharp or 2nd position, which is the default position for blues and rock 'n' roll. Lastly, blister packaging can include added items, such as small booklets on the history of the harmonica, or a mini catalog showing other Hohner harmonicas, accessories, and merchandise.

About MS-Series Hohner harmonicas:
The acronym 'MS' stands for Modular System, an integrated concept of Hohner's harmonica designs. MS-series harmonicas benefit from innovations that improve their playing characteristics and also significantly facilitate maintenance and handling. All MS-series parts (combs, reed plates, and covers) can be combined individually. Simple screw connections allow for easy assembly. This benefit offers players the possibility to adjust the instruments to their individual requirements. For example, some players prefer the body of one harmonica and the cover plates of another, and so a "custom hybrid" is possible for the discerning player. Replacement reeds are available (see item: RP565 MS Replacement Reed Plates).

About Hohner:
Hohner is a family company founded in 1857 in Trossingen, Germany, by Matthias Hohner. Handmade quality and close attention to detail have set Hohner apart from the beginning. A top leading brand in harmonicas, Hohner harps are distributed worldwide. Hohner harmonicas are played on the street by buskers, in intimate nightclubs, on festival stages, and even in Carnegie Hall. Despite a diverse harmonica line used in music from country to classical genres, the most famous Hohner harmonicas are simple, 10-hole diatonics used frequently by blues, rock, country, and folk musicians.

Comments about Hohner 532 Blues Harp Pro Pack - MS-Series Harmonicas:

I'm not an experienced player, but my son and I both like playing around with these. After trying one of those cheaper plasticky ones, I picked up this pack. The difference in the quality of the feel and sound is just miles apart. These are the real thing. And thanks to Musician's Friend for the great price too;-)

Comments about Hohner 532 Blues Harp Pro Pack - MS-Series Harmonicas:

I've been a customer of Musicians Friend for a good while, and I am pleased to see promotions on the Honher harps, I do question why, on the MS harps, that have replaceable reeds, why the reeds cost more than a new harmonica? Something wrong here! There are no good deals on Lee Oskar or Suzuki,so once again, I've turned back to the leader, Hohner.

        A good deal

        By Bob Rushford

        from Long Island,NY

Comments about Hohner 532 Blues Harp Pro Pack - MS-Series Harmonicas:

I've been playing harp for over 30 years,& have watched as the price of your average Hohner diatonic has gone from $3 to over $30. Talk about inflation! I'm not a fan of plastic combs,I played Marine Bands for many years but switched to the Blues Harps some time ago.As MS series harps, they have replaceable reed plates while standard Marine Band's don't. With harp prices these days ,I'm looking to save a buck anyway I can! I originally went online to buy new C & A Blues Harps, they go for $39 a piece,so with this 3 pack you get 3 for less than the price of 2.I'd say that passes as a steal these days!! Now I also have a new G harp, which saves me the trouble of buying & replacing reed plates when my old G harp wears out. Thank you MF!

        They're very fun!

Comments about Hohner 532 Blues Harp Pro Pack - MS-Series Harmonicas:

I may have given this product a 10/10 but do not take my review too heavily. I am by no means even a novince harmonica player. I am actually a guitar player who bought these harmonicas on a stupid deal of the day deal. I happen to think these are very fun to play around with and great to bring around with you. I'm a College kid so whenever studying is becoming too much I go outside sit around and play with the harmonicas! Its great that it comes with 3 keys so I can jam with my friends!

Comments about Hohner 532 Blues Harp Pro Pack - MS-Series Harmonicas:

Love the sound, just wished it had other selections besides G and C. A sound great, too, but have not found a recorded song to really use it along with yet. Guess I could capo one on guitar, record it MP-3, and then play along with it and do fine, therefore making it all my production. I was surprised at the wood instead of plastic, but the wood is coated and protected, so it is less likely to pick up mouth flavor. C and G do give me additonal harmonicas so my son can do a duet with me, and the G has a much better range than the other G my son played and disliked.
