Hohner Piedmont Blues 7-Harmonica Pack with Case  

I thought this mignt be a good deal on a travel set o harmonicas to keep in my truck. However, I was very disappointed. They're cheap, plastic, harmonicas suitablefor a 6 year old kid, but not an adult. They're made of plastic, they taste and smell like the chemicals used to make plastic, and wonder if it's harmful to even play these harps.

For the price I think that this is a very good buy. For a beginner it will perfom well. For a low cost Honer I found that they are easy to play. There are some songs that you will not be able to play because some notes are not included.

The only undesirable feature is the plastic sides. They don't fit tight and let some air escape.

Excellent begginers pack. If you are starting to learn or thinking about learning the harp, this is the way to do it.

This is only good to mess around with at home when trying out playing harmonica with songs in different keys. That's it. I would never use this in a live gig, or recording session, maybe good to jam with other musicians. The harmonicas are made of plastic and have a cheap feel. Your mouth taste like plastic after playing them. The construction is also very airy, not tight at all, so the volume you get out of these is not going to be very loud, and because of the airiness, it's hard to do dramatic bends. But key, for the price this is dirt cheap for a set of harmonicas in different keys. However, if you're an absolute beginner, I would spend money on 1 good harmonica, and make sure you practice your haromonica techniques using 1 good harmonica. Once you're pretty solid in your harmonica playing, you can get this kit as a cheap way to mess around in different keys.
