Great out of the box harps! Already well Gapped/ well tuned straight out of
The pack. Probably one of the best harps to buy with out buying a custom harp
( about 100.00 less in cost than most custom harps)

Comments about Suzuki Promaster Harmonica:
I purchased the set a year ago but was missing the E and in need of it. I played Hohners for 30+ years prior and finally decided to go up the food chain and am happy I did!
Comments about Suzuki Promaster Harmonica:
Nice to look at, but just not a good working mans harp. May be better suited for low level studio work?
Requires twice the blow and draw effort of a Hohner Special 20, which is my favorite overall harp. Both the Lee Oskars & Hohner Special 20 blow this harmonica away in regard to playability. It also seems a little thick. I guess I'm just use to my Spec. 20's & Lee Oskars. This harp will actually tire you out after a 4 minute song if your trying to achieve the same level of volume, bends, and sustained notes as the special 20. Based on C & D standard keys.
Very nice to look at, well made, that's why I bought one, just dissapointed in it's play effort.
Overpriced.
Comments about Suzuki Promaster Harmonica:
comb made of metal seems heavy harder to blow than most, special 20 has it beat by long shot
Comments about Suzuki Promaster Harmonica:
Bought three of these to use for recording sesions. In a matter of two weeks ,blew both of the D's out . While I like the smooth edge and the airtight feature they are not tuff enough to handle hard blues bending .....Very disapointed
Comments about Suzuki Promaster Harmonica:
Rock solid performance. The reed plates don't stick out as far as some of the other companies' products & are much more comfortable to play. The reeds, like all the Suzuki harps I've seen, are spot welded to the plate. The tolerances are far closer than anything else out there. This seems to help in making them INCREDIBLY air tight. It also seems to help them to respond much more quickly & bends, overdraws, & i would imagine overblowing (even though I am not good at overblowing), are MUCH easier to achieve & control. They do cost more but if you play professionally it is worth every cent. Near perfection at this price as you will find.
