Comments about ESP LTD TL-6 Thinline Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I gig as a solo act about 3 nights a week. I've been looking for a thin bodied acoustic guitar for a while, and was starting to give up. I am a self aware headstock snob and had exhausted all my options with guitars up to 3x this price (Taylor, Gibson, Godin, Michael Kelly, etc...) and thought I was out of options. I stumbled upon this at a guitar store before a gig while I had some time to kill. I instantly felt like this guitar was made for me. Feels like an electric, of course isn't as full sounding as a full bodied acoustic and can be a little muddy sounding, but the electronics get it closer than any other thin acoustic I've tried. I've been using it for my long live gigs and love it. I don't think I'll use it for any recording or writing, but is just what I was looking for for gigging. The biggest surprise is the price, I'll be able to afford the 12 string a couple others for alternate tunings if I choose. Hope this helps!
