A nylon-string electric with the feel of a classical.

First time I saw this guitar, was played by Junior Cabral (ricarjo arjona guitarist) I fell in love with the sound. I broke the pig and order it. The body was solid mahogany, cedar top and maple neck and ebony fingerboard. After a few adjustments on eq, the sound was sweet and very like a fully acoustic guitar.  Best features: Neck, no feedback, and sound. Cons'  A little weighty, and long sustain. Need to adjust your playing technique.  Overall was a very respectful instrument

Excellent Guitar.  If you are primarily a classical guitarist (or any guitarist wanting the feel of a true classical guitar) and are looking for a classical guitar that you can amplify without the need for a microphone--this is it.  The best guitar in its group; feels and plays like a classical guitar, not an electric.  Workmanship is excellent and sound quality is very good with a good amplifier or PA.  Synth access is another great feature.  My only hope is that Godin continues to make this guitar in the future.

All top notch woods and solid at that.  The highly respected RMC pickup system...sounds like a $5000 vintage classical beign recorded into a top line $2000 condenser mic...AND I MEAN IT. This is a hybrid guitar even though it retains the 2" classical neck width.  Still a very good neck to play and I play all styles on this.  This is a quality guitar.

I own one of these.  For me allowing me to have midi access on my synth and in recording is wonderfull.  I like that the gutiar feels like a real classical guitar and not the thiner one that Godin makes.  I think they are good buy for my large hands this was the way for me to go.  I come from a rock background and have switched to a Nuvo Flameco and Jazz feal and this gutiar is wonderfull for live and recording.  I run it into a Roland GR 33 and am very happy with that set up.  I also run it into a Line 6 Pod XT for studio and live.  it tracks well and sound very good and crisp and clear. you can tell however that something is diffrent that is not a normal classical guitar,  I think it is a bit brighter but not pizzio pick up brighter.  You will need some eq,ing.  I also had one problme that one of my pickups was wired the wrong way at Godin and needed to be repaired at a Godin Authorized Shop.  All in all I love to play and travel with this guitar.
