Comments about JO-37CE Orchestra Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Proud owner of a super travel guitar, this. I am redoing my whole collection of guitars to all be @24.75"
string length, @1.75" nut width, concert or Orchestra body, 14 frets to the neck/body joint. This is allowing me to become proficient in not having to look at my guitar since all my fingering maneuvering is nearly identical no matter which guitar I am playing. This allows me to be a better singer, and entertainer. It also significantly reduces the stress on my body because I am not crimping my next to see the neck and I learn parts much faster because my fingers know right where to find the positions. The JO-37CE closely matches my Taylor 322 dimensionally., but the cost was less than 10%! It has a nice resonant balanced tone. It required a major saddle shaving, but now plays nicely with decent intonation and no buzzes. The solid spruce top comes in handy when I want a certain tone that my mahogany Taylor doesn't have for me. The Taylor will always be my main studio guitar, but this sweet little instrument will get a lot of attentional home, and still be a great guitar to use on most outings. It is so easy to move around because it is fine in a light weight gig bag, so it is easy on me. Oh, the tuners hold a tune excellently. They are a little stiff, and their tiny heads accentuate in creating a bit more of a challenge making small tweak, but this is just a minor irritation. The fishman pu sounds about as good as any under saddle--totally usable for most applications. I love a great bargain. It is really a 5 star for what it is, but it doesn't pretend to be a perfect guitar, so I feel a 4 is a more accurate in representation.

Comments about Jasmine JO-37CE Orchestra Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I loved the guitars finish, size and sound however two things stood out even before I even plugged it in, One, the advertisement said that the nut width was 1"3/4, wrong it's 1"5/8. The nut width and price was why I bought it in the first place. Two, the fret ends were very sharp and cutting. Overall, if you have small to medium size hands and are willing to invest more money to get a fret done on it, I'd say go for it. It's a beautiful full sounding guitar that is well balanced. If it were a true 1"3/4 nut width and had a decent fret job before sale, I'd say it's a steal at that price and would have treasured it. Peace, JW
