I have owned this guitar for going on 13 years. While it is a "cheap" acoustic, it sounds pretty good and I have had zero issues with any mechanical or construction aspects of the guitar. The only challenge I have had is intonation above teh 12th fret. It seems like, if you don't have just the right guage of strings, it can be difficult to get the guitar to be in tune across the entire fretboard. Meaning, E at the 12th is flat or sharp compared with the lower open E on the same string. Otherwise I have played the hell out of this guitar, written two albums with it, performed live on it, and taken it across the country and it's showing few signs of wear. I JUST replaced the string pegs at the bridge after all this time, a cheap fix. A great guitar for a person just learning or a musician on a tight budget.

Comments about Jasmine S-35 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I have ordered 15 of these for my students and EVERY ONE had the same problems. After I adjusted the neck, bridge and nut, I still had to file most of the frets because the correct method is to mark the high ones, start at the nut and file those. Then go back and check again for frets that were NOT filed the first time and mark and file them. This MUST be done with the neck under tension! I have spent the better part of the afternoon just on fret work. My last one had three hundred & ten unoes of set-up work, and when I sell it, I will not buy any more. Now it plays & sounds GREAT!

Don't recommend for beginners

Comments about Jasmine S-35 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I like how it's loud, but the action is too high. I expecting it to be low, but nope. I have to put a lot pressure on the fretboard for it to play correctly. Not reccomended for beginners.

Comments about Jasmine S-35 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I picked one of these up as a gift for a friend and it was by far the best thing I could have done. He loves the thing! Going from gibson guitars to a jasmine seems slightly backwards, but it's the best bang for your buck! The neck feels good and has an amazing tone to it. Overall the feel is great for an inexpensive guitar! I would highly recommend buying one for the traveller.

Comments about Jasmine S-35 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Now, I'm no fantastic musician, by any means. I just wanted a guitar that would wait for me in the corner of the room on those lonely, rainy nights. She was always there for me and stayed in tune, just the way I like her.

This guitar has a great value. The quality obviously isn't top notch, but it's a great beginner guitar. I was happy with my purchase.
