Bronze Cymbals are the Norm for a Reason

    Pros

      Cons

        Best Uses

Comments about Meinl Brass Marching Medium Cymbal Pair:

When cymbals are purchased they should be bought for the occasion and brass cymbals should probably never be your go-to set of marching band cymbals. Brass cymbals are not as crisp, durable, or beautiful as bronze cymbals end of story. Meinl is a great brand despite the previous poster's comments and I would probably recommend Meinl over all other cymbal brands. I would recommend the brass sound for someone trying to spice up their drum line with a trashy, airy or perhaps even china-like cymbal sound. I would recommend the bronze model marching cymbals offered by Meinl as both an inexpensive marching cymbal set and one that should have good tone based on personal experience with use of a variety of the major cymbal brands.

Meinl Brass Marching Medium Cymbal Pair Reg. 16in

Comments about Meinl Brass Marching Medium Cymbal Pair:

Cymbals are pretty much what I expected, but I will probably shy away from this company for any important purchases.
Cymbals are great probably for a jr high or elementry band. However I purchased as a quick replacement for my highschool student. Cymbals tend to pop inside out and have to be pushed back into place by students but that may be because of the extra force the older students tend to use. Pads and straps are suppose tobe included with the cymbals, at least thats what every other company and the insert in the packing box said, and there is no note like on other brands that says not included. However, I was told by cust. serv. that they were a seperate purchase so I don't know but be prepared to spend additional $$ for the pads and straps.
You get what you pay for.
