Comments about The Realist Double Bass Transducer Pickup:
I am a working musician- jazz, orch pits, etc. I got the Realist to see if it worked better on my Kay bass than the K&K sound max (I have a Fishman Full-Circle on my other Kay). I A/B'ed them and the Realist sounded significantly better- warmer, and more authentic than the K&K, and I like it better than the Fishman. I actually enjoy playing the bass more. Installation a bit of work, but not too bad, and plugging into the pick up is not as secure as I would like- but small details. So far, my favorite pick-up of the three mentioned above by a significant margin.
