We found these headphones to fit comfortably and sound pleasant for use with a digital piano. However, despite the gentle use, the left side failed after about a year. Careful disassambly revealed that a wire had disconnected from a feeble solder joint.
overall, i like these. they sound great, and works for my needs. i wish they came with a bag, or something, but thats about it
these headphones are great, i just got mine a few days ago and havent put them down except to sleep. my complaints on these are minor.. transporting these is difficult.. i dont wanna just put them in my bag, wearing them around your neck is awkward, and so is just carrying them in one hand.. so i just wear them to the studio.. so i wish they came with a bag, and my other complaint is they dont reduce noise as much as i thought..but other than that, these headphones have been amazing.
yeah theyre pretty good quality, nice and durable. definitley worth the cost

These are open back, very natural sounding headphones. The response is very flat across all frequencies. These make them great for mixing, recording, etc... Some people might not like them cause they are not boomy like closed back headphones.Personally I don't like closed back headphones. They produce too much bass and not enough mid or high end and sound like a tricked out car with a 15" sub and no substance. Or like cheap computer speakers with tons of bass to make up for a lack of real sound. It's almost a fake sound. Some people are used to this type of sound and will think these don't sound so great. Also being open back, they have a very natural sound. They don't isolate though so watch it if you need isolation so others don't here you. Because of this beatiful natural sound and lack of boominess, these can be worn for a long period of time without fatigue or headache. Comfort is top notch with the self adjusting headband and different ear pads are included to suit personal tastes. It also has a 1 sided cable so it doesn't get in the way liek 2 sided ones. They are also over the ear not on ear so I find them extremely comfortable. The cable is detachable which is nice and it has a locking 3 pin mini XLR connector so it doesn't pull out of the headphones. It includes a straight and coiled cable as well which is a value compared ot some other headphones.Overall these are great sounding open back, over ear headphones with a very high comfort factor. The included 2 detachable cables and velour or leather ear pads is an added plus. These things sound great, nothing like your boomy $40 headphones you might be used too, or like the $200-$400 Bose headphones that also have too much bass and not a well balanced sound. These are the real deal and highly recommended in the under $200 studio quality headphone category. They do not isolate well so not meant for everybody, also they are not designed for DJ puposes. You can hear other people talking to you while wearing these which may be a plus or a minus. They are not noise cancelling. In the open back sub $200 category I rank these at the top. They loose 1 star because they don't seem to be designed to be ripped apart and rebuilt in the field. But if you watch these babies there shouldn't be a problem, just the odd cable issue which is detachable anyways. You can easily get replaceable cables from many different after market companies. Highly recommended for studio work, recording, music listening, plugging into an electric piano or guitar/bass effects unit, movies, etc... These are suitable for great listening for every task. What they are not designed for is noise cancelling for airplane use, isolation and flipping 1 pad for DJ use, or for isolation so your so workers or students don't hear you. For open backers under $200 these should be on your top A list.
Amazing response. Real monitoring with no colouration. And they are like the most comfortable things ever. I can hardly tell their on my head. If you want open back look no further.
