Decent sound, terrible build.

The cable came loose almost right after purchasing them. I super-glued the cable back in place to the left cup, but then had to move the 1/4" jack around in order to get a proper sound. They sound good when they work, but horrendous durability.

A Great Pair of Cans to Listen to Music With

I got these headphones for Christmas, and I have to say that I am quite pleased with them. The sound quality is very nice: full bass, good mids, though the highs are a tad on the week side. A few minor issues, however: 1) They are a little bit heavy, as part of the ear cups are made of metal. 2)As with many over-the-ear headphones, they can be tiring to wear if you have glasses on all the time. 3) I'm not sure if it's standard on headphones of this quality, but there is no in-line volume control. Despite these minor qualms, these really are a nice pair of headphones to listen to music with (probably not to produce with, though). While they certainly are great, if you have the option, you might want to look at some Sennheisers in the same price range over these, like the HD428.

Great Dj headphones, of course these are meant to be so and not to produce. These headphones have an amazing low end response because dj's need that low end to beat match. Of Course these headphones will sound terrible for music production. Buy Studio Headphones. Learn to use the proper tools of your trade. There are many types of headphones, the best way to find out what you need is to actually try the product before buying.

I purchased these when I first started out. The Sound quality is amazing. I didn't have many distortion problems between recording with them vs what came out of the speakers. I work very often and after 2 months, they slowly fell apart piece by piece. THEY STILL WORK THO! So just keep duck tape handy.

For listening to music

I have a pair of these. They have a high sound quality, and are great for listening to your iPod. When it comes time to listen to your guitar, these are horrible. Every note is just drenched in muddy bass. It's not even just bassy, it's bassy with a horrible, cheesy sound. For listening to music, they're great. If you want to listen to your guitar, look elsewhere.
