A nice little mixer, price is right

By PMano

Comments about ART PowerMIX III - 3 Channel Personal Mixer:

I personally use it to play an IPOD and bass thru as a practice amp but I may decide to use it with effects or running a few effects and getting a custom signature sound. I heard that if you run the 3 out channels of an Alembic FX1 pre amp thru a 3 channel mixer you can get an infinite variety of sounds, I'm really looking to try that. I like the sound of my bass with a pre amp thru the headphones on this unit. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. For the money you really can't go wrong.
this is a 3 channel mixer, with headphone and stereo output. small, sturdy, comes with ac adapter. Stereo, good tone. I like it.
ART makes really good stuff, I've owned it for a few months, I take care of my stuff, I don't foresee any issues.
This does not have a ton of bells and whistles but for the price it has all the basics and they all work well.

Great Product, Excellent Sound

By Earl-Nq1kl

Comments about ART PowerMIX III - 3 Channel Personal Mixer:

I have been using this for several years to mix my pratice instuments for headphone out and it works great. The sound became noisy and sounded like "electrified mush". With this product, the sound that comes out is just as crisp and clear as what I feed in. Very nice!

No zero volume!

By jazzsinger

from Chandler, AZ

Comments about ART PowerMIX III - 3 Channel Personal Mixer:

Nice and compact, but both units that I've tried would not completely stop the signal even when panned opposite, with channel gain and master gain all the way down. If you don't mind a mixer with no zero volume, it'll work for you. But it can be very frustrating to turn down a channel and still have output (mostly bass). The Midiman turns all the way down, so why not ART?
