Behringer 1C Studio Monitor Speakers Pair  

Hello, I just got these hooked up to my Sonar/Ableton PC last night, and they don't sound too bad driven at 30Watts each at 4 Ohms from my Sony Subwoofer audio out. They are very very similar to a pair of Garrard indoor/outdoor speakers I had from 10 years ago, so I really wonder if they are made from the same molds in the China factory? They have a very plasticy feel to them. They do handle every bit of the power I can throw at them with very minimal distortion. They are plenty loud as well. I don't care much from the push spring terminals, and wanted 5-way binding posts. I think for $30 - $35 would have been a more fair price for these. They tend to sag a bit when used to hang on the wall using the supplied brackets. They do sound rather nice at the 5K to 15K range for cymbals and higher frequencies, but you'll need a subwoofer with them, since the dropoff at 500Hz and below is substantial in my opinion. Remember these are 4 ohms, so they won't work with some home systems. Good luck.
