Big Sound, Little Price

Features:

As I'm getting older it sucks to breakdown old, heavy equipment.  These speakers have the big club sound that we need for high-end and mid-range vocals and acoustic guitars, but don't weigh nearly as much as their competitors.

Paired up with 900W amp and a good cross-over, you can get some quality sound out of these.   Used at our gig this past weekend and they performed well.   Got lots of compliments on the clarity of sound.

These units are awesome for the price.

Features:

Regular tip sleeve or neutrik connectors in parallel

Quality:

Nice high impact plastic. Have them crossed over at 80Hz and they take Gobbs of power

Value:

I purchased a pair of these with low expectations.  Yet I must say I am buying another pair for more coverage and ending up with more coverage for less money.

Overall:

They can sound a bit "boxey" along with too much high end, yet the equalizer fixes these great value speakers into some great sounding speakers as well.

Great sound. Lightweight. Durable. I bought a pair of these to run off a QSC amp. I am VERY happy with them. So happy, in fact, I bought a 2nd pair for gigs that required more sound (football field event that needed wiiiiiiide coverage and volume.) I had tried the Macky Thump15's and was VERY disappointed. They clipped at 1/4 volume... these cabs seem to LOVE anything I throw at them. I dig em.

These speakers a great speakers for the money, the quality of them is amazing, and you will be sure to love them, the highs and middles sound great, so no need to find any speakers louder, but. if you are planning on using them for gigs over 100 people i would recommend using sub woofers with them as the lows are not quite as good. but overal they are great reliable speakers that work fabulous, and i now own 6 of them and plan on getting more. Cheers

I have used everything under the sun, from Vdosc linearray to Gemini Dj cabinets. I think these cabinets are very good for the money and for a light Dj rig they are great or even a small ensemble or a soloist. I bought them for a Dj rig and 4 of them do just fine paired with my custom built Fitzmaurice subs. I unlike most guys process the heck out of these to protect them drivers and most cabinets when eq'd and processed well they will usually take what you dish out if you stay in the parameters set by the manufacturer. These are 250 watts continuous so I don't push them past there limit. Give yourself a little headroom with your power amp and you'll be fine. I cut the lows off at 125Hz and these cabinets scream from 125Hz up...They do produce pretty good lows but I know I wouldn't push a lot of lows through a plastic cab just for personal reasons. Buy em and you'll like em'...
