Ultra low-noise mixer with 4580 operational amps for better audio performance.

The Behringer MICROMIX MX400 4-channel Line Mixer is big on features despite its ultra-compact size. The MX400 yields the highest sonic quality at all output levels, boasting ultra low-noise 4580 operational amplifiers for outstanding audio performance. These are the same op amps found in its much bigger brethren.

Expanding on the capabilities of standard-size mixers is where the Behringer MX400 does extremely well—for example as a sub-mixer. If you are running short on available channels on your big mixer and need to bring the output of 3 different keyboards into your mix, you can simply connect them to the MX400, work out the keyboard mix, and connect the Behringer MICROMIX MX400 Line Mixer's output to a single input on your main mixer.

Features

  • Ultra-compact 4-channel line mixer
  • Highest sonic quality even at maximum output level
  • Input Level control for each channel

Basic Mixing at its finest..

Features:

..and cheapest. Not a ot of features, but this is just a method of combining signals. If you need to see levels, this isn't it.

Quality:

Mine lives in the back of an SKB case, and has velcro stuck to it, so it doesn't bang around. It has performed flawlessly. There is some dog hair on the velcro now. I blame my dog.

Value:

Like I said, just to mix some outs together, it's great.

Overall:

I've plugged some rackmount keyboard modules together, and this gives my soundman only one channel to worry about instead of four. Can't having him freaking out, or take up too many snake sends. Setting the knobs at about 1 o'clock provides plenty of mix. Glad I found a simple solution, instead of connecting a bunch of expensive cable adapters together.

i gave this unit all 8's only for my lack of experiance with other mixers.  i wanted something simple and easy to use (it does that very well). i don't need or want all the added, (and sometimes confusing) features that other mixers offer, i use my amp for that. wouldn,t hesitate to buy another. - my wife and i and a few others, volunteer playing at nursing homes and some small town festivals.

Quality:

Sturdy - well built

Value:

Worth the money spent - great value

Overall:

I needed some extra channels to provide more vocals for our small PA system that we use for Nursing Home ministry and this works great. No noticeable loss of sound quality or volume. Simple and easy to set up / use. Would recommend it for anybody needing to add more channels.

The inputs are TS and the output is TS. Musician, posted are incorrect. I like the product and will use it.

Musician's Friend's Specifications show this unit as TRS Inputs and a TRS Output. It is not. Behringers website and the spec that comes with it shows it to be a TS Input and TS Output. If you try to use it for TRS balanced inputs, the output signal will be very noisy. I was able to plug unbalanced mic's and Keyboards in to it with no problem.     When used properly, it works fine.

When it is used properly, it works fine.

Good value for what you get.

I bought this to use on our church system.         With the MX400 I can control the mix of all our guitars right there on the stage, and just send that mix to the sound room so they only have to deal with that main mix.     It also frees up three other channels on the board to be used for something else.     Plus I don't need to have 4 separate direct boxes for the four guitars.     And the output sound great in our system.

One of the best prices.     And having this device also keeps me from needing four different direct boxes for the four guitars plugged into it.
