Can you spend less money on the for the same size cabinet - the answer is yes... Will it sound like these the answer is no... Fantastic technology wrapped up in a 20-lb package.. I play keys and they are bright when they need to be and can handle bass parts very well.. A 12s sub is in my future. I use srm 150's for monitors and can put the whole system on a car seat... My days of handling cabinets as big as a dryer are over..Get em you will not be disappointed.

When I first saw these, I knew that I was going to have to have one. It's too perfect for the low volume restaurant/wine bar types of gigs we do. Portability, features, sound quality, etc. are all top notch and very much geared for the needs of professionals. So far, I just have one, which when placed on a speaker stand is plenty to cover the small rooms we play. I've also used it as a floor wedge and that works great also. I will eventually add a couple more and the sub for bigger gigs, but the one is doing just fine.

These powerful little speakers would be great for as mains (on top of the Mackie DLM12S subs), but I used them for stage monitors. With the built-in kick-stand and MORE than enough power, they really do the trick. There's even a dedicated monitor more in the built-in digital mixer that optimizes them for use as a floor-wedge.
