I didn't buy this for the Quality, I bought it for convenience. I host open mic nights from time to time and I don't like all those mouths on my microphones.I have good mics and rather then buy some cheap mics for guests to use, that won't sound good anyway,I use these windscreens like a condom on the mics.I also started useing one for myself to cut back on my pop noise. They're not too big and they're not very dense so they work perfect for me.I use Beta mics from Sure and they fit fine.I use blue for me and red for guests. On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 5 on noise reduction and a 7 on durability.

For the amont they cost just replace it after each use so they are decent for the price just be careful not to tear it.

Comments about Musician's Gear Microphone Windscreen:
They do the job they were intended to do, and to me they really make a microphone jump out and add a little pazazz!! I will definately get more in different colors.
Made out of a foam material and fits over the end of your microphone to eliminate the windy sound you sometimes make when speaking or singing into a microphone, plus it should protect your microphone from unwanted dust or even, come on and lets admit it, that occasional flurry of spit that we all manage to blow into our mics.
Hey, it's foam, what can you say. Possibly a little thin, but if it were to thick, it might affect your voice. I do think though, that with care should be durable enough to last a while.
I bought a single windscreen and I know that you can buy them in packs of four or five. That would be the cheapest way to buy them, plus if you were to damage one, you would have a replacement. Bought singulary they may be a bit pricy. You decide.
Comments about Musician's Gear Microphone Windscreen:
Does what its supposed to do, had it for about 6 months now and it still does the trick. I've put it on other mics and it hasn't ripped or stretched out. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.
Comments about Musician's Gear Microphone Windscreen:
Simply put, it doesn't work, at least not when I tried it. To keep your breath off of the microphone, just hold it no higher than your solar plexus as you sing (or "sing") to your microphone.
I have noticed it does, however, turn your microphone into a timpani mallet. And those things are hideously overpriced for pieces of wood with their heads wrapped in felt.

Comments about Musician's Gear Microphone Windscreen:
when i first put it on my friends mic cause he needed it for a video we were doing it worked i fine. i went home and put it on my mic which is pretty much the same size and it tore right in half. maybe i just made a mistake some how but with my current expieriance with it id have to say im not a fan.
Comments about Musician's Gear Microphone Windscreen:
It looks like you get three of these in a package, but you only get one windscreen when you order this item. I was surprised. It's an average product - not the best foam and not the worst. I would go for the better product if I had it to do over.
Comments about Musician's Gear Microphone Windscreen:
I've had thease screens for about three weeks and they seem to do the trick, but there is one little problem that bugs me. The screens seem to fit moast standard mics of corse, but the get so adjusted to the certian mic they are on that they begin to shape around it, which means that once you put it on a mic slightly bigger it begins to tear. It does work though! the only way wind or breathing can really pass through is if you where to blow on it.
