Comments about Neumann BCM 705 Dynamic Studio Microphone:
I was skeptical that any dynamic could be worth this much money, even with the Neumann badge attached, but when I mounted this mic and used it on the air for the first time, I was astonished. Its response is flat with a gentle enhancement at the high end (not a shred of shrill!) and a pattern that lets you move your head slightly to see your copy, but is still a nice, tight cardioid. It's a masterpiece well worth the price.
