OVERVIEW

Switches a mic from front of house, to backstage or sound booth.

Panic Button is designed to give live entertainers on stage a way to redirect their microphone output from A (front of the house normal operation) to B (sound to an engineer or roadie). It provides you with a way to discretely ask for a mix change or help when a string breaks or a battery dies without doing so over the main system. Channel B can be used simply as a muting switch for the main system. Both A and B outputs will supply phantom power so no pop occurs when channels are switched. If the Panic Button's battery dies, the circuit automatically returns to channel A.

FEATURES
  • Allows entertainers to switch the microphone signal from front of house to backstage or alternate location
  • A/B switch also allows unit to be used as a muting switch for channel A
  • Status indicator light
  • Includes AC power supply

Sometimes you want to have a private talk with a roadie or sound guy while you're on stage. The Panic Button makes it possible. Order today.

Comments about Pro Co Panic Button Mic A/B Box:

Posted a similar and somewhat negative review of this product but still haven't seen it posted. Hope this isn't the fault of MF. The switch works well enough to keep. Doesn't work well with my TC Helicon foot switches. I get a noticeable pop when switching. The pop is less noticeable when working on its own. Sent the manufacturer a note asking for help; never heard back.

Works great! As a worship leader one moment I'm singing and the next my foot is on the panic button talking to the band.

    Great XLR Switch

Comments about Pro Co Panic Button Mic A/B Box:

I use this to direct the output from my Shure mic to two different channels on our mixer...one for vocals and one very "wet" for pennywhistle. Worked great for one hour, then channel B died. I swapped it out and the new one works like a champ! A little pricy IMHO but in the middle of songs I didn't want a popping cheap one.
