Owning several of these amps I have been happy with them for several years. Recently two of the four I own have started shutting down. They are about 7 years old. Clip lights barly blink and the amp looses all output power. I have been pushing them hard for years. Maybe their just worn out. All in all, I still recommend them for serious professional.

I think this amp is a very wise investment, so much so I own 2 of them I run them bridged mono one for the left and one for the right. I love the power and sound that this amp delivers. I have mine pushing 2 peavey sp5 speakers a side and the amps handle it with ease. I would replace one if one died but I don't see that happing .

After purchasing this amp, I refuse to use anything else. I've used the other brands, and QSC takes the cake. I've never had ANY problems whatsoever even when pushing them to their limits. They are extremely efficient and will go all night long with no problems. I've used them in direct sunlight in >95 degree weather, STILL NO PROBLEMS. People may think these get hotter than the Crowns, but the only reason they seem that way is because crown has front-to-rear airflow (meaning the hot air comes out of the back of the amp, into the amp rack) in order to trick the consumer into thinking they run cooler. QSC uses rear-to-front in order to properly cool the amps. That right there just shows what kind of company QSC is, and I feel great supporting them!

I have a rack with six of these in it. We use tham for our mains. Had them for ten years, never had a problem. Have used them for shows with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Canned heat, Ten Years After, Bad Company on and on. these are the work horse amps of the industry. 5 stars. We drive them with a 3 ohm load at 1000 watts per channel. Use 4 the 1450's bridged mono to drive our duel subs. You want a great amp that will last, This is it!!!

This is a great amp for the right aplication. I highly recomend this amp for highs and mids. I have used it on subs with poor results. The amp will clip very quickly even with proper gain structure. I now use my 2450 to push two Peavey SP5s and it works great. I use a Plx2 3602 to push two Peavey Sp 118s and you just cant seem to push this amp too hard. it really pumps out the low end. Also how can you go wrong with a 6 year warranty.
