A 12" low-frequency woofer with 3" voice coil is powered by 400W of Class H power. A neodymium magnet design provides ample motor strength for low-end performance without adding unnecessary weight. The 1.4" diaphragm neodymium compression driver is powered by a 100W class AB+B amplifier and is loaded on a 75 degree conical horn.

This is a great speaker from QSC. It is heavy, But thats what you get with a quality speaker. Sounds better than any plastic enclosure I have heard. The 100HZ filter makes this speaker versatile. I use this speaker as Mains for SMALL venues, and as Monitors for MEDIUM venues. They dont get used at all for larger shows. If you are looking for a convenient, self contained, yet fantastic sounding high quality speaker, this is for you.

Upon opening the box the first I see of the speaker is the handle on the top. Great attention to detail in the packaging insures you get an undamaged piece. I pulled them out (I bought two) and hooked them up immediately. And immediatly was impressed with the clean look and feel of the speakers. Though a little heavy, the weight is well worth what you get from overall quality. You get the feeling you have purchased the best in quality you can get. The SPL is the same db rating as the JBL SRX715 - (though not as much bottom). Bottom line, don't let the 12 inch speaker be deceptive. These speaker pack alot of power, and also finesse. Intricate nuances are clearly heart through the biamped speakers. I am delighted with the purchase.

WOW what else is there to say about these speakers. Just got them for the church and man it sounds good. Heed this....MUST HAVE SUB!!!...I got the "15 from qsc and it sounds way better than most "1 than I use. Buy there...amps are way better than the Crowns in JBL. QSC Doesn't use cheep amps, JBL Does. I still think Crown makes godd high end stuff but it still doesn't compare to the rugged good sound of QSC. Wood cabinets way better than mackie and JBL plastic...It has changed the way we do worship at our church. I am listening to them right now!!!

The Speakers pretty much rule! I've E.V. products for years and loved them, I just found the overall response of the speakers to be much smoother, and true. They are built like tanks and about the same price as the Mackie's or E.V's. Plus!!!!! They have like a 6 year warranty!!!
