A high-quality, passive direct box that uses 2 proprietary custom-made transformers, one for each channel, for both impedance conversion and isolation. Linear from 20Hz-18kHz, with low distortion and virtually zero phase distortion makes it perfect for live or studio performances. Because of the transformer isolation, problems such as hum and buzz caused by ground loops are eliminated, making it very easy and hassle-free to use. Features include 1/4" thru/input, -15dB pad, and ground lift protected from damage by a protective front panel. Heavy-duty construction, baked enamel finish, and 600ohm balanced output. 3" x 5".

There is not a whole lot to say thats bad about this box.. I guess if i could even dig to find something bad it would be more of a preference.. Theres a soft foam like material on the bottom side for grip.. I would probably prefer a hard grippy rubber bottom for durability but other than that this thing SHINES! I plugged it into a basic Behringer Mixer direct into a pc and was pretty amazed with the clarity of the guitar. I have used cheaper di boxes with less than perfect results before and this is nothing like that experience.. I love that it has a -15 db pad.. one of the best features imo. Some guitars just have more input volume than others this fixes that! Not to mention that this thing is quite the solidly built box... I accidently dropped it down a flight of stairs to a concrete floor and feared the worst but alas! There wasn't even a scratch on the thing! I might just use it for a backup hammer! (not suggested lol) Anyway the bottom line is if you're looking for a sturdy di that will last for years stop looking.. This is it!

performs exactly as described. Have it set up using a MAC Laptop and PA. Sounds clean, precise, and works well. No hum, distortion. Great stereo sound. Great for live or studio recording. Haven't tried it on acoustic guitars yet, but I'm sure it'll work well on that too.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Typical great Radial quality.

Anyone who uses a laptop computer & a PA system will have a problem with noise of all types. I searched the web,I asked techs & asked "HP" (they said I did damage to my unit) until I found the Radial PROD2 The unit is built like a rock, simple to use when setting up your gear and resolved every issue I had with frequency noise as well as poorly grounded electric supplies. BRAVO!!!

Good, solid DI box. Execellent on Acoustic guitars and keyboard. I use it in live sound and its really clean!! Almost bought a Behringer, glad I didn't!! Get one they are worth it, No stress!!
