Sound isolating earphones with enhanced bass and a variety of cable configurations for unique sound signatures.

Featuring a single Dynamic MicroDriver, the SE215 delivers detailed sound with enhanced bass. A detachable cable with formable wire enables easy replacement and a secure, comfortable fit on-stage or on-the-go. Sound Isolating sleeves in multiple sizes provide up to 37dB of isolation and a customized fit.

Sound Isolating Design

The role of the included sound isolating sleeves is twofold: blocking ambient noise (iup to 37dB) and ensuring a comfortable customized fit. Because every ear is different, the Fit Kit includes three sizes (S, M, L) of the flex and black foam sleeves. Experiment with the size and style that creates the best fit for you. A good seal is key to optimizing sound isolation and bass response as well as maximizing comfort during extended wear.

SE215's come with a soft-zip compact carrying case to provide you with a convenient, tangle-free solution to store and travel with your earphones.

If you play in a band in tight quarters, these will make all the difference in the world. Get a good headphone amp and plug everyone in. The guys were absolutely amazed when they got 10 dollar earbuds and all of them are going to be getting some of these now. I love mine, its good they wrap around the ears so they dont just hang from your ear holes. The sound cancelling is great, I cant hear a word anyone is saying in the room unless they are miced..even when we arent playing. Im a drummer and its cuts my drums out so that I can easily hear everyone elses instruments without blasting everything. We run through a descent yamaha mixer, with these shures in and the volume control on the headphone amp everyone can set thier own levels so they can hear more or less of what they want.

Guys in the band told me how great these are when used as in ear monitors. I have been using Etymotic e4's. 1st time i used then at a gig I used the same monitor mix as the Etymotics. The Shures had some funky low end octave thing going on. Switched back to my Etymotics and problem solved. The Shures are my backups now and I use them in the studio for rehearsal.

2 plus years of daily use, still perfect

Comments about Shure SE215 Dynamic Microdriver Earphones:

I use these to jam on drums to MP3's. Every day for at least an hour for over 2 years now. SO PERFECT for this use. They allow only pleasant tones to leak through and just enough cymbal to be audible without being harsh. I also use them on my phone when doing yard work or kayaking. These poor things barely get a break and they still work perfectly. If they ever quit, I will absolutely replace them with the same model without a second thought.

DO NOT BUY THESE or any of the SE series

Comments about Shure SE215 Dynamic Microdriver Earphones:

The first pair lasted a few months then the left side got EXTREMELY quiet. I am a musician and use these as IEMs and usually only use the left side anyway, so it was a big deal. Shure replaced the earphone pieces and let me keep the cord. Now I have a clear cord with black earphone pieces. a few months later, the same thing happened.

Another instance, the church I play at bought three pairs of the SE315s. One year later, we only have one working pair.

DO NOT BUY ANY SHURE SE SERIES!!!

This was a gift for my Grandson. His comments are: The condenser microphone is great because it is portable, but can record studio sounding material.
The in ear headphone are amazing because when you have them in, it is noise cancelling but it doesn't change the sound of the instrument like some headphones do. Not to mention the detachable cord.

Comments about Shure SE215 Dynamic Microdriver Earphones:

I bought these to use on airplanes when traveling. I cant do the noise cancelling earphones, so I worked very hard to find something that blocks out the plane noise enough for me to watch movies on my tabet. These fit the bill! They block so good I have to take one out to hear the stewardess.

Comments about Shure SE215 Dynamic Microdriver Earphones:

I am a drummer that plays a lot of gigs, I needed to find a set of good ear monitors that could with stand a lot of use and sound good, These earbuds are fantastic!! These earbuds sound great and they don't fall out of your ears while your rockin out. I have had them for 6 months and have no issues. Shure always puts out great gear and these earbuds definitely live up to the Shure high quality standered. I would recommend buying these with a good quality wireless ear monitor system because the cord is not very long which means you have to attach a long length extension cable to use them, which for a gigging musician is not practical.

Comments about Shure SE215 Dynamic Microdriver Earphones:

After many years of playing with bands using stage wedge monitors I recently joined a band that uses an Aviom in-ear system. I purchased these as my everyday ear buds would not stay in very well and these were relatively cheap.
These are comfortable, stay in, look good, and seem to be made very well with a reenforced cable.
These are working very well and my only complaints are that 1. The bass is hard to hear and I have to really turn that channel up louder than the rest and 2. I wish they had come with a collar clip to hold the cable in place so my strap doesn't pull on it.

Comments about Shure SE215 Dynamic Microdriver Earphones:

These are great for the money. The construction is good quality, however, the connection of the cable at the earpiece corrodes when you sweat. You may experience quick moments of no sound after a bit of use. Just detach the earbud from the cable and clean the connection points with a cotton swab and some alcohol or nail polish remover.

The key to getting a great sound is finding the right tips. I prefer the foam tips because they expand to a comfortable fit and the depth of the music is much better than with the silicone tips. Plan on purchasing more foam tips because they loose their awesomeness after a month of everyday wear. (They get gross with earwax). YUK!!

As far as the durability they do quite well. I have sweated these things full during mountain bike races, enough where there is a noticable sound differance from one to the other. Just take the foam tips off and place them in a warm, dry enviroment for a day and they're back to normal. I tried the Westone One's prior to these and sent them back to be replaced due to sweat getting in them and quitting.(Three pair. I finally gave up on them.) The depth of sound is way better than the Westone's as well.

Overall they're tough. I had my previous pair for two years. Sweated them to death and they kept going. I only replaced them because I stepped on them preparing to play my drums. I was using them as monitors.
