This was a everyday piece of kit in my home studio until the screen pulled away from the gooseneck. I was not in any way rough with this thing, and I'd been using it for over 3 years when it broke. I suppose it could be user error, but honestly, this is a very simple item that should've lasted way past my need for it. I really can't think of any reasonable explanation from the manufacturer as to why this just fell apart. Look elsewhere or be prepared for some light welding duty.

This Pop filter is perfect!!!! I have tried it with many mic's and did tests (with and with out) filter to see the diffrence in pops and (sound) It does exactly what it was made for but with Hight quality and durability. This sounds completely transparent to me. Better than the 20-30 dollar nylon one's!!!!! Well it does not seem to change the sound at all like the NYLON ONES. I also have made my own nylon stocking one and still the ( PF1 ) sounds transparent to me!!!!! You get what you pay for!!!! -I have been recroding, playing drums, guitar, bass, singing, and have a pro studio for over 15 years. I also repair and build/fix guitars.
