I bought this speakers about three years ago I have used them and abused them i use them as stage monitors for large venues and for highs and mids with club 18 subs on small venues they get the job done

I love the way these cabnets sound. Great punch, balanced without the shrill highs and they don't break apart at high levels. Sounds tight in a mid size room. I drive them with a Hafler 2400.
Not everything, but everything you need. Speakon connectors are great!
As is the case with most fabric covered speakers - some wrinkles. But really, who cares? They are going to get banged up anyway.
Best bang (boom?) for the buck by far! Brand name goodness for crap brand prices. Who can complain about that?

These speakers are great! I use them for an acoustic duo. I use the Yahama EMX512 SC powered mixer with them and the sound is fantasic at any level. We have yet to turn the volume past 3 on the EMX512 SC mixer at any of the clubs we've played at. The clarity and punch are exactly what you could want in such a light-weight and easy to transport speaker. I have not used them at extremely high volumes yet, but I'm sure they can handle it just fine because they have an auto-limiter feature that will prevent them from blowing if the power load is too much. Perfect for a duo or even a full band in a medium sized (I would say 300 person) venue. What more could you want?
Versatile with any power amp because it has both Speak-on and 1/4" inputs/outputs on the back. They can be bridged or run in stereo very easily just by hooking them up accordingly.
Yamaha - the name says it all...
If you are going to buy 2 of these, get the pair deal, it's cheaper than buying 1 at a time if you need 2.

Hey guys these cabs really are good, at low level of volumen the sound is excellent. There is a feauture not mentioned by yamaha that I discover throught use, it is when you push to extreme load (above 400 watts aprox, wich is the rated program) the drivers automaticly turn off to avoid to be burn. Excellent feature no, it is? of course it is. I definetly recomend this model A15, no doubt about. Thankspractice and enjoy!

Yamaha's dedication to solid engineering and manufacturing excellence really show in these old-school workhorse cabs. They use real birch plywood, not flimsy MDF. They use switchcraft and Neutric connectors. They make their own speakers which are VERY strong for the price range. If you already have a good amp like QSC ( my fave) you can't go wrong with these. Highly recomended!

I've had a pair of these for a few months and love them. I'm running them for highs and mids mounted atop a pair of B52 LX18EV3's and it's a great setup. If you just need a pair of hard working, reliable cabs these are great! They may not have many features (if any) but they sound amazing.

I got these speakers 2 weeks ago and, let me tell you, I LOVE THEM!!. You get great sound,quality craftmanship that will stand up! not, like my other speakers ( cheap Phonic sem15`s )Whice are now up for sale so, i can get 2 more of these Yamaha`s. I have done 3 gigs so far with these speakers and, my advice is...stick to brands you know!! they are the BEST for a reason and, they will not disapoint you.

I purchased these about a year ago new from musicians friend and pair these with a qsc RMX 850 and these things are the bomb. Now saying all of that I only push these at 200w at 8 ohms, each at venues from 100-250 people. Upgrading to a GX5 to get 500w each. The are a tad big heavy but good speakers need to be a little heavy. I am more than likely going to buy some more. These are some of the best speakers I have ever use and owned.

I use them for medium size venues, coupled with a Yamaha Power mixer. They work pretty good, a little muddy and thin on the highs, but very good considering the price. Excellent value!

For the price, it is pretty hard to top these speakers. Hooks these up to a QSC and you are off to the races! I used these speakers last week and I was impressed with the clarity and bass response. They are as clear as a Bose and they bang as if they are JBL's. These are great speakers for the DJ who is looking for affordable start up gear.
