    Great Ligature. Great Price

    Comments about Bonade Tenor Saxophone Ligatures and Caps:

    I?ve spent a small fortune on different ligatures but the one I?m sold on is a Bonade. I now use them on all of my saxophones. The reed sits on two metal rails and resonates beautifully?making the lower register of my horns much more accessible?especially my tenor.I had a slight problem with the diameter of the ligatures being to big for my Morgan mouthpieces. I cut two thin, 1-inch long strips of fiberboard from a notepad and glued them, centered, at the top (inside) of the ligature. This not only fixed the diameter problem, but improved the resonance by reducing the area of metal in contact with the mouthpiece.
