Perfect for Jazz, Rock, and Pop Playing!

The Harry Hartmann Carbon Series Fiberreeds use high-tech carbon fiber with hollow connecting fiber. The interweaving of the different fibers results in a very true feeling reed. The weave of the fibers is designed to emulate natural cane in ways that no other synthetic reed can. The Carbon fiberreeds reproduce the tendencies of natural cane to be very strong towards the outside (the bark) and more resonant yet not soft at the heart, while being very flexible at the vamp.

The result is a very full sound with direct response and a beaming upper register. The top choice of pop and jazz musicians.

        • Lasts 20-30 times longer than cane reeds
        • Play immediately, no soaking or break-in period
        • Extremely resistant to warping and splitting
        • Perfectly consistent
        • Never dries out
        • Easy to clean, resulting in a hygienic and odorless reed even after months of play

Comments about Harry Hartmann Carbon Fiberreed Soprano Saxophone Reed:

Very disappointed. I have been using Rico and Van Doren reeds on a Yamaha 4c mouthpiece. Thought I would try this for a change. The product is well manufactured. But the sound is not good.

Comments about Harry Hartmann Carbon Fiberreed Soprano Saxophone Reed:

I'll go ahead and say right here that I'm a novice on the Soprano Saxophone. I play a Kenny G E-Series III Soprano with a Dukoff D8 metal mouthpiece and Rovner Dark ligature, and up until now, I've been using good quality cane reeds (Vandoren V16s, which play very nicely). I've been using the Carbon Fiberreed on my Alto for a couple years now, and it's been great, so I thought I'd give their soprano reed a try (medium-soft).

I put this reed on my soprano and IMMEDIATELY knew that this was a great purchase! It's easy to play, sounds great, has a good feel, and has no warm-up time! It's also tuned very well, and it was easy to get any note I'm capable of playing in tune with my digital tuner. This was a major problem with my last synthetic reed, which was a Fibracell (I also couldn't sustain a note with the Fibracell, which is easy with this one).

They may seem expensive at almost $30 a reed (the cost of an entire box), but they're completely worth it. So if you're looking for a new, high quality reed for your soprano, look no further!

            Fiberreed Carbon Soprano

Comments about Harry Hartmann Carbon Fiberreed Soprano Saxophone Reed:

This is BY FAR th BEST play reed I have ever played. the response is quick and the tone is right on.
Not concern of the cost because it will last longer than a box of 10 cane reeds. Excellent Highs and Lows and very easy to play.
