    Great sound and control

    I have played for over 45 years, playing soprano and Alto in concert, pop, studio, and live. Absolutely love these reeds. Ready to play at a moments notice, no change in embouchure for me at all and you get a very good projection and power that you don't get with a cane reed. The soprano gains so much control/creativity that it can cause some pitch problems (as if a sop doesn't already :)) but just go up a number (say 2.5 to 3.5) and you will be good to go.I love them!

    Love the sound

    Comments about Rico Plasticover Soprano Saxophone Reeds:

    These reeds are different. With that said, I use them exclusively on Alto and Tenor, and I am moving to soprano. I like the instant response and sound that they give. I don't think they change the way you play at all. My embouchure never changes (to my knowledge) and I can change back and forth at will. I have played for over 40 years.

    Once you start to use these reeds, they may seem nice at first. But they will mess up your ombature. The reed take more strain to use then normal reeds which means if you use them for a month straight of heavy playing, it will take about 3 just to get back to normal with normal reeds
