      Comments about Vandoren Soprano Saxophone Reeds:

      Vandoren Traditionals are arguabley the best reed you can buy for classical or academic playing. They should always be your starting point when choosing a good reed and most likely will be the ones you end up sticking with. As far as tone goes, if you find yourself wanting an even warmer tone, check out the Vandoren V12s. Regardless, these reeds are good quality, sound good, and are fairly consistent. 9 out of 10 reeds in a box will play perfectly without needing adjustment which is much more than one can say about any other brand of reed.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I clicked on the Baritone Saxophone Vandoren reeds, but the Soprano Saxophone Vandoren reeds came up. I did not realize it, so I mistakenly ordered the Soprano Saxophone reeds. This was not my error, but an error on the Musicians Friend.com web-site. After I called Musiocians Friend I told them of the mistake and they ordered my Baritone Saxophone reeds for me, but charged me the difference. The rep. did not even offer to reimburse me for the postage from the Soprano Saxophone reed order, even though I spent $10 for two day shipping. I am now searching for another internet company to order my reeds from.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
