I just bought the tweed version of this case and own the tweed Fender case made by G&G Quality Case that it replicates. So, I am able to literally compare them side by side.
This case is half the cost, but doesn't have quite as good a fit and finish. The lid of the compartment feels like it may be cardboard, rather than masonite and much of the lining seems haphazardly glued down.
That being said, I think it is a very good value. If you have prized Custom Shop American Tele, maybe you should splurge on a better case. If it is a beat up Modern Player, maybe this case makes more sense.

While better than an average gig bag, just barely. The black case is made differently than the tweed style, so this review is just for the black one. A Strat or Tele style guitar will slide back and forth about an inch in this slightly too long case. The padding is minimal and the case flexes when empty. It isn't very rigid feeling and the hardware provides little confidence. I doubt if it provides much crush resitance at all. I would never ship a guitar in this case anywhere. It's best suited for home storage to protect the guitar from dust and minor bumps when moving the case from room to room. This thing is no road case, so keep it home and it'll be okay. Take it somewhere and it could fail, possibly damaging the guitar. I recommend this case only for home storage.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:
I ordered one when it was on sale, and it's one of the only cases that was reasonably priced that would also fit my extended scale 7 string. It protects the guitar well, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. If I drop it or even lightly toss it while my guitar is in it, I'd feel safe, but if a lot of pressure was put on it, I feel like it'd buckle. Regardless, this is an incredible bargain and I'm ordering one for my brother right now.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:
I ordered the Tweed case, and I am thoroughly satisfied with it. I wasn't looking for an insane amount of protection, so I wasn't too concerned about reports of it being flimsy - and it turns out that, honestly, I don't think it's as poorly built as others have said. For the price I'd say it's great. I keep a 1960s Tiesco Del Rey in mine, which has a more unique body shape than most guitars, so I think it's safe to say that it will fit most electric guitars very well.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:
This case fits my Telecaster and Strat very well. The standard size and shape will fit many solid body "flat" guitars. It has a lidded compartment for accessories, a nice feature since many are now omitting the lidded closure. Room for a cable, strap, tuner, picks etc. If you are looking for a road case this isn't it, but for the money, and playing locally, it offers plenty of protection. I bought the tweed version and really like the stylish design.
Pros
- Easy To Carry
Cons
- Flimsy Feel
- Light Hardware
- Not Sturdy
- Too Long
