Well when I asked for this amp for christmas I only asked for it because it's cheap, and I had a 300 dollar limit for christmas and I needed an amp. I didn't care to read the demensions so when I opened it up I was shocked at how mini it really was. So i put in the batteries and plugged in my new les paul and I was instantly shocked. It sounded fantastic and it's suprisingly loud for it's size, but it can also be quiet enough not to wake people up at night. I love this little amp! Buy it, u won't be disappointed!!!

Bought this thing, and have to say I was pretty disappointed after reading some of the reviews. I know I have to understand it's a mini amp and therefore not a 'real' one, but c'mon - this looks like something you'd get at Wal-Mart in the toy section. Sounds like it too. Not sure why I didn't send it back. You'd have to be in pretty desperate need of an amp to use this. Might be good for college dorm room or travel, but be prepared for some distortion whether you want it or not. Not very adjustable, built like a toy, looks like a toy.

The sound isn't perfect, but for my setting and use it's just right.
The Fender Deluxe Mini-Amp is a nice little amp that is easy to carry. I play the autoharp, uke and a variety of rhythm instruments in a nursing home, so its portability is a real plus for me. Before I got the amp, hearing me was very difficult. I wish the suction cup pick-up stuck to my instruments the way it does my guitar, but putting a mic in front of me also works. The piano player in my group thinks it's great.

    Ok

Comments about Fender Mini Deluxe Amp:

It's an ok amp for the price and playing around at home. Remember it is a mini amp. Your not going to get great sound. The louder you turn it up the less great the sound gets. Best used with headphones.
Features are what you can expect from a mini amp.
    It's definitely good quality.
    Very well priced.

Great little amp; and I mean little. It puts out a lot of sound for its size and is great for pratice. Plug your headphones in to really get a great sound.

    This little thing is great!

    By Steve O'

Comments about Fender Mini Deluxe Amp:

I bought this amp because my 4x10 Hot Rod Deville is way too loud to play in the house. When I saw this I had to have it because it's like mini me for the Hot Rod. When I heard the sound I was shocked. It's great for sitting around and practicing. The fingers aren't what they use to be so I prefer electric over acoustic these days. It's really crunchy the clean channel isn't very loud but all in all I totally recommend this little guy. Especially if you own a Hot Rod it's like having a cool little replica for the shelf that actually works. Don't expect more from this amp than what it actually is and you won't be disappointed!

A Word To All The Naysayers!

    By reign

Comments about Fender Mini Deluxe Amp:

If your buying this amp as your initial amp purchase i suggest buy a real practice amp w/ all the bells & whistles you need. For the other naysayers who do own mid to high end amps, let's not compare this to our plexis, AC30s, or 57 twins as far as sound quality goes and see it as it really is, a collectible...something cool looking to put in a display case, and it happens to also be a real working amp. I use this when i'm too lazy to plug in my practice amp, or if im just writing new material or practicing solos... i dont expect it to do much more than amplify my sound to a decent degree and as eye candy...it is what it is and its a work of art.

    pretty cool little thing

Comments about Fender Mini Deluxe Amp:

I went into the store looking to buy a small, portable amp. I found this this one and I like it. It doesn't have many features, but what do you expect from a pedal-sized amp? The tone is pretty good unless you start to turn up the drive all the way. It's a great practice amp, or just something to bring along if you don't want to lug a huge amp. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a miniamp/practice-amp

    Best Little Amp Going

    By TheWholeNote

    from Louisville Bluegrass

Comments about Fender Mini Deluxe Amp:

Perfect little setup for playing around. It is not the big amp I have but I don't have to lug the big one anymore. This small amp SOUNDS GREAT. I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EARS. Price is right.Has a headphone jack and a nine volt power supply adapter plug. I was fortunate enough to have the adapter power supply to conserve the 9 volt battery when I want. What More could you want for the price. You can't go wrong with this one period...

    Decent practice amp

    By Kevin-Y66FS

    from Baton Rouge, LA

Comments about Fender Mini Deluxe Amp:

It doesn't get much simpler than this one. If you have some tone in the fingers, you can actually get some decent tones out of this little thing. I play a lot of Zeppelin, and you can't really expect a vintage marshall sound, but it can do some nice classic rock like that for what it is. It can even get some fairly smokin blues tones. There's a wide range of gain available, and it gets a good bit of fuzzy quality when you start to turn it up, and maxed out, it's pretty raunchy. The only thing I'm not 100% on is the quality. It is plastic, and the headphone jack on mine detached from the chassis, but that was fixed easily with some glue, another friend dropped his and the speaker popped out, another easy fix, but it would be nice if that didn't happen, but what do you expect. Overall, if you need a practice amp or something for school guitar class, I would definitely recommend this, and you really can't go wrong for $50.
