Comments about Lee Oskar Harmonic Minor Harmonica:
This harp is good only for minor scales, as one might expect. It wasn't as smooth as a Hohner Special 20 in my opinion. I'm glad I have it for a few songs, but it's definitely not as flexible as a regular major key type harmonica, where G can also play Em scales.
Comments about Lee Oskar Harmonic Minor Harmonica:
I anticipated receiving the harmonica for a couple of days and was unsure of what to expect. I was extremely happy to find that the transition from a diatonic to a harmonic minor key was seamless. The sounds are very European, deep and moody (key Gm). An excellent purchase.
Comments about Lee Oskar Harmonic Minor Harmonica:
I bought one of these about a year ago not knowing what to expect. It is by far the most enjoyable harmonica I have ever owned. It is listed as an Eastern European or Yiddish sound. Okay, but a lot of cool rock songs can be played on this little gem too. "Paint It Black" by the Stones, "Moondance" by Van Morrison and off the wall alternative songs like Suzanne Vega's "Tom's Diner". You won't be disappointed.
Comments about Lee Oskar Harmonic Minor Harmonica:
I've tried a lot of different harps, and the Lee Oskar is by far the easiest to play. The tone is unbeatable, good attack, clean bends, and the cases lock together to make it easy to find the right key while you're gigging. All the parts are replaceable at a reasonable price. I'll never buy anyone else's harps.
