Blackstar are amps made for musicians, by musicians. Because they understand what is important when it comes to your setup, Blackstar have quickly developed a reputation that artists around the world have come to trust. With over 50 years combined experience in amplification, no guitarist should ever travel far without a Blackstar. Based in Northhampton England, the seeds for what would become Blackstar were planted in 2004 when four bandmates came together with a dream of developing new and innovative amps for themselves and others. For over two and a half years, these friends researched and developed what would become the first Blackstar gear.

Since that initial offering, Blackstar has grown into a company whose products are used by some of the world's most well-known guitarists. Gus G. from Ozzy Osbourne's band, James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers, James Williamson of the Stooges, Kryz Reid of Third Eye Blind, and Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi are just a few of the names who step on stage and plug into a Blackstar amp.

When you start looking for a Blackstar of your own, it's important to know what you will be using your amp for. Do you need something for a small practice space? Then you may want to check out an amp like the ID:Core10 10W 2x5 Stereo Guitar Combo Amp. Small in size, but huge in tone, this amp offers intuitive controls that can help you perfect your craft from the first time you flip the power switch.

If you're looking for something with a little more oomph, check out the Venue Series HT Club 40 40W Tube Guitar Combo Amp. Ideal for gigging in medium sized venues, this amp is versatile enough to easily suit the needs of almost anyone's distinct playing style. If you're a more experienced or working guitarist who needs an amp that is sure to pump out serious sound, take some time to look at the HT-50 Stack. Combining the HT Club 50 Head and the HTV-412 Cabinet, this set offers incredible creative freedom for any guitarist. With a whopping amount of power, this amp will fill any venue with the sounds of your six-string.

Blackstar is a company that is on the rise. As they continue to expand, they remain musician focused, building amps with artists in mind. When you plug into a Blackstar, you're plugging into something special that will always be reflected in your sound.
