920d Custom’s coil splits upgrade takes the general theme of the vintage Les Paul-style wiring harness and takes it a step further, allowing the push/pull tone pots to split each respective pickup. The Cool Kids humbuckers are made to have slightly higher output than the Smoothies, without losing the qualities of a traditional humbucker. They offer just a little more bite and girth than other humbuckers.
920d Custom builds their Cool Kids with 4 conductors to accommodate coil splitting and other fun wiring options.
