Designed as step two of D'Addario's three-part instrument restoration system, Protect leaves behind a smooth, radiant finish while helping seal and preserve the instrument's clear coat. The formula is suitable for guitars, basses, ukuleles, mandolins, banjos and other clear-coated string instruments, including those with nitrocellulose finishes that are in good condition. Note: For vintage instruments with nitrocellulose finishes, D'Addario recommends testing Protect on a small, inconspicuous area first. Do not use polishes or waxes if the instrument's finish is compromised.
