Great cable for someone not looking to have a billion feet of cable to wrap up at the end of ever jam session. Sound quality is pretty crisp and clean. I own two, the first one I bought has never failed me, however I had a problem with the second one I bought a few weeks ago.You MUST be careful with the cable in general around the angle plug and I recommend inspecting it when you recieve it for this fault...There is a black covering near the angle plug, mine didn't have it tucked into the metal plug casing and the wire tore away from the solder after only a few weeks. The metal casing acts as a clamp onto the black covering, keeping the wire from being able to move, and since this covering wasn't clamped in properly, the cable was able to move freely and it broke. If this happens to you and you want to fix it, simply unscrew the case, sheer off some of the wire covering, and re-solder it. Make sure to move the black cover I spoke of tightly into the casing before claming it back together. I did this and now my cable is as good as new!As I said, good cable for the money and great to carry around with you. I definitely recommend it for anyone who likes the coil-type cables!

I've had one of these since about a week before Christmas and it just decided to short out on me. The straight jack has a spring connected to the bottom of the sheath which I ended up pulling out because as you pulled your cable out it would stretch and pinch your fingers. As another persons review said it's a pain to run it through your strap because of the coils in it. Until about a week ago I had no problems with it shorting out but now it does to where you have to have the cable at a certain angle for it to work.. needless to say if it worked it would be a good value cable simply because of the compactibility, but other then that I wouldn't recommend it.

Fender lucked out with this one

By Lacuna

Usually, fender cords are pieces of cranbarrymush with stick in the mix, but this one has held up for a pretty long time... and I beat the crap out of it. Never have I had to "tinker" with the solders on this. It's certainly held up to my expectations and then some. I've had it probabily 4 months, and it's still working great. One of my best cords.

The fender California coils cable is really good. I got one a month ago, and it still works just as it did the day I got it. Definitely worth the money!

Cable

I've had this cable for about a month now and it just crapped out on me. I thought it was the internal wiring of my guitar so I took it in and nothing was wrong. I later Discovered that it was shorts in this cable. I would not recommend this to anyone that wants a good cable.

piece of crap

I'm dissapointed. I bought three of thse suckers and they all broke in the first two weeks that I got them. to make sure no one gets ripped off I recomend that you take this Item off the list. I admit that these are some cool looking cables but the quality is just so low. If your looking for a or some cables with quality don't buy these. if yor looking for some good quality cables for a cheap price get the from this site Instrument Cable for only 5 buck's. Or if you want high quality cable that looks like these ones gret the Bullet Cables BC-25CC Coiled Instrument Cable. these cables are real good. well till next time peace out and never stop rock'n.

Mod It

By anonymous-ngGX_

This cable is awesome for looks and sounds very descent. Not as reliable as it looks however, because the right angle plug broke in about 6 months of regular use for me. I fixed it by replacing it with a george L right angle plug and now it's perfect. Still a good buy for the money =)

Coiled Cable

When I saw this cable it reminded me of the coiled cables I used 30-40 years ago. Got one to try out. Didn't get much of a chance. Used it for one month and its now shorted out at the angled plug. I don't mistreat my equipment, It hasn't been pulled, snatched, stretched, jerked or any other such thing.

These things are really cool. They're great to look at, they never get in the way, and they actually stay plugged into things, although right after you get them you'll want to stretch them good so they aren't too tight. Overall they are the best cables I've used.

good cable

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

they're fairly good quality but the sound is about 4 fifths of the quality of a straigh cable (i'd say). anyways i like them more because they're cool. not bad overall, but not a HI-FI cable.

California Cable

By stupid_head_chris

I have owned 2 of these I bought one an got one as a gift, they are awesome cables just very cheap. The angle plug begins to come loose and becomes very touchy. Great for the price just don't expect it to last forever.

Wasted money

Ordered two of these; plugged them in as soon as they arrived and the first one (red) has a short in the right-angle head (so sound level jumped from really loud or really soft with any slight movement of the cable) and the other has a short in the cable somewhere so you get a constant 'hum' thru the amp - don't waste your money on these!!!

Awesome

Best Cord EVER when i play at home i sit on the couch and before i bought this cord i would just use my standard straight cord and it would knock my jack lose and so i bought this cord and i have had no problems i use the angled end in my guitar when im at home and when im preforming i use the angled in to route to my pedal and its always the right legnth and it is very durible, all you have to do is grab it and you will feel the quaility of this cord

Dont waste the money

I bought this a couple of months ago and it sucks. It's one of the only working cables I got but thats as good as it gets. It says it 25 ft. But your lucky to get 5 out of it. If you try to walk around while playing, say like if your on stage or something, the courd will act as if its a spring being stretched and come fyling out of your amp or pedal. I have stretched this thing out as best as i can and i have managed to get about 10 ft. out of it. Plus its nearly impossible to wrap around your strap so it doesn't get ripped out of your guitar. Trust me dont waste your money on this unless you only need like 3 ft. of moving room

Good inexpensive stretchy cable

By Bubba91030

from South Pasadena, CA

Awesome cable, gave me great tone through my bass, much better sound than through a livewire or Carvin cable. right angle jack not compatable with recessed jacks, only ones that are fender style (in front, or non flush jacks). no worries, just used the straight side and put the right angle end to my Volume pedal. gives a great angle too. came feeling oily and smells very strongly of rubber plastic... it leaves everything it touches with that smell.
