The Gator 500 Series single bass drum pedal provides a stable, adjustable platform through a dual-chain drive and round cam with smooth linear response. Independent beater-angle adjustment and a locking tension spring with direct-pull mounts let drummers fine-tune feel and return, while the dual-sided felt-and-wood beater offers warmer attack or sharper definition and the 9.5" footboard supplies balanced leverage. A heavy-duty solid base plate combines rubber grip and adjustable spikes to resist movement, and the 3-point side hoop clamp uses rubber inserts for secure, hoop-friendly attachment. The result is a performance-focused pedal built for dependable positioning, repeatable setup and consistent response.
