The rugged tabletop GT 050 FireWire 250GB external drive has been built specifically to deal with daily audio and video production. The GT 050's ability to handle such a daunting task can allay any fears that your hard drive will die on you from the grueling demands of such intense use.
Made of sturdy stainless steel and sound-dampening metal, drive vibration is absorbed before it has a chance to effect the chassis, ensuring the 7,200 RPM internal drive will receive and send out smooth audio and video at all times. It has it's own internal power supply as well as a whisper-quiet fan so while you're laboring for hours hot tracks, it'll be able to handle the heat.
