The next step forward in bass pedals.

Like having four pedals in one, Redline fuses the stunning power and flexibility of the original Eliminator with the fluid speed of the Demon series pedals. With a host of radical improvements, Eliminator: Redline helps unlock perfect feel by locking in a cam, further pushing the boundaries of bass drum performance. The world’s only pedal featuring the patented Interchangeable Cam System, Eliminator’s virtually unlimited tunability lets the player lock in totally personalized feel, power and speed.

The velocity of the Redline pedal is driven by many elements. That begins with NiNja Bearings. Developed by skateboarding engineers, NiNja Bearings incorporate state-of-the-art micro-polished steel balls for incredibly fast, quiet and smooth performance. A Uni-Lock Cam grips the axel at a full 360 degrees and allows infinite beater angle adjustments. Features the Floating Spring Pendulum design that is perfectly centered on the clamp for full bearing movement and maximum smoothness.

Patented features includes a Rotor Tension Cradle and Pearl's revolutionary PowerShifter function. The Rotor Tension Cradle locks the desired spring settings into place and prevents tension creep under play. And the PowerShifter allows the footboard to move forward or backward to provide three positions to fine tune the power and feel of the pedal.

This model features belt drives.

  • Belt-driven cams

There was a flaw in this pedal

Comments about Pearl Eliminator Redline Belt Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal:

This pedal didn't show up in mint condition like the last one did. The left pedal spring assembly kept rocking/clicking no matter how tight I made it. So I took it off and figured out that either paint from the factory or the casting process on that little piece the spring assembly attaches was not completely flat. So I took a fine grit sand paper and sanded it smooth. This actually worked and now the spring assembly sits flat and stays tight. If yours does this try this fix. I think it's ridiculous that I had to do this to a new pedal though.

Comments about Pearl Eliminator Redline Belt Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal:

This pedal is awesome and it is the next step in Pearl's evolution. They have improved the pedal for the most part. But lets be clear, this pedal is probabaly only 5-10% quicker than the regular eliminator (as opposed to the 85% quicker claim) and this might just be in my head. I matched the settings exactly to my old pedal to test this theory.

The new spring tension lock is what I've been looking for for years!

A couple of things that aren't quite cons but just personal preference. I still don't like the quad beater (I didn't like the old quad beater either) it just doesn't do anything for me. I use hard felt Gibraltars and surprisingly get more attack and boom then then the plastic side of the quad beater. The other thing is the cams fit so snuggly, it takes hulk like strength to switch them. Yes this means putting them on and especially removing them is difficult. Which is ok if you don't switch them often. But I wouldn't attempt this in a pinch. You might need to unclamp the pedal from the kick to do this, while the old elims you could just pop them off nice and easy while still attached. I guess this is better than watching the cams fly off mid show. I've seen this happen to other drummers on the old eliminator. Oh, and I wish these came with hook velcro on the bottom. Just a suggestion.
