Three Distinct Overdrive Circuits for Massive Tonal Range

At its core, the Badder Monkey offers three fully independent overdrive paths: the smooth, mid-focused voice of the original Bad Monkey; the tighter, lower-gain Behaved circuit; and the saturated, high-output Badder mode. Using the 360-degree Barrel control, you can blend two circuits in parallel to fine-tune texture, body and saturation—dialing in everything from subtle breakup to thick, harmonically rich rock tones. The toggle switch lets you shift the Bad circuit in or out of phase for even more sonic variation, while Troop mode engages all three circuits simultaneously for massive, layered overdrive character.
