Rich, thick, and meaty, the MC-3 takes up where other choruses leave off. Rather than thin your sound, it gives a slight boost and increased low-end response. Radical Rate and Depth controls dial a range from subtle detuning to full-throttle rotating-speaker effects.

This is a quiet running pedal when you have a fresh battery, or run an adapter for power. The Absolute Best Chorus for the money. better than Boss's chorus lineup, or the truly noisy E-H Small Clone by a mile. A++
I like the chorus effect that this pedal gets, and its features are fine (chorus pedals don't need much more than depth and rate), however, I gave it a bad rating for two reasons: 1) it is not a very extreme chorus effects, if you want psychadelic, seasick, swirly chorus sounds, this isn't your pedal, and 2) it hisses. It hisses alot and it hisses loudly to the point where it isn't really usable.
Sure the rubber strap is bogus but this thing sounds fantastic! I keep mine on almost all the time when playing live. Really fattens and beefs up my sound. Buy it, you won't be sorry.
I thoroughly enjoy using this pedal. It is superior to the EH Small Clone that I use to own - the "Clone" failed me after only a few days of use. It is notoriously unreliable. I prefer the sound of this pedal to the EH any day. It is also more attractive, smaller, better built, and simple. It produces a dramatic warble effect if the "Rate" is left more than about 20%, but this is no problem. A very very warm chorus indeed.
Its 10 bucks cheaper than the Boss pedals, easier to use, and IMO sounds a heck of a lot better. I also don't like/understand the Stereo feature on the Boss pedals. So this pedal sounds better is easier to use, a bit cheaper, and less confusing than any other high quality chorus.
This is one of the better chorus pedals out there. Real small on the pedal board too! I think this pedal sounds better than the Boss by a mile.
I bought mine three years ago and I am still using this pedal regularly at gigs. You get a chorus pedal from hell with fat, whirling leslies with the rate set at 9-10. pull the rate down to 6 and you've got a haunting, transparent chorus. Many more settings to explore. Best price on a made in japan pedal I have seen. Its a better pedal than the vintage mij boss, or any american made chorus. Way better than a small clone. This guyatone is best chorus pedal i have ever owned.
This pedal sounds really really nice. Probably the warmest I've heard. I have owned Boss, Ibanez.. this sounds much nicer to me.It does alter your tone very slightly when off.. but I'm gonna run it with a true-bypass loop so its alright. I don't think its that noticeable if you aren't a tone freak like me. I also owned a TC Electronic SCF pedal.. This is also a sweet pedal, but i prefer the warmer sound of the MC-3. The low price of this pedal had absolutely nothing to do with why I bought it.
