A dedicated SUB control adds a polyphonic lower octave that tracks cleanly for both guitar and bass, expanding low-end depth while maintaining articulation. Seven onboard IR cabinet presets provide classic guitar and bass speaker simulations, and the balanced 1/4" output with integrated IR processing ensures consistent direct tone for stage, studio or front-of-house applications. Via USB-C, the IR Manager software enables detailed editing and third-party IR loading, turning the A/B ROLL into a customizable direct-recording solution for modern guitar effects setups.

Loop Recording and USB Audio Workflow

With up to six minutes of loop recording and unlimited overdubs captured at 24-bit/48kHz quality, the A/B ROLL functions as both a performance-ready looper and compact USB audio interface.
