Two independently configurable outputs can each function as expression, programmable switch or control voltage (CV) outputs, allowing you to simultaneously control multiple devices from a single pedal. Dual Independent Outputs for Total Rig Control

Canvas Expression adapts to your setup instead of forcing your setup to adapt to it. Independently configure Output A and Output B as expression, programmable switch or control voltage outputs to simultaneously control multiple pedals, amplifiers, synthesizers or modular gear from a single treadle. Automatic expression wiring detection quickly identifies the correct wiring configuration for compatible devices, while support for TRS, RTS and TS resistance modes, adjustable tapers, forward or reverse sweep direction and customizable output behavior lets you fine-tune every aspect of the pedal's response to match your rig. When configured as switch outputs, Canvas Expression supports momentary or latching operation with customizable activation points for controlling amp channels, presets and pedal functions. Selectable 0–3.3V and 0–5V control voltage ranges also make it easy to integrate Eurorack systems, desktop synthesizers and other CV-enabled gear into your setup.

Deep MIDI Control for Modern Workflows

Beyond analog control, Canvas Expression serves as a powerful MIDI controller capable of sending up to 16 independently assignable MIDI messages over both 1/8" TRS Type A MIDI and USB-C. Assign Control Change and Program Change messages to pedals, processors, DAWs, virtual instruments and plugins using the intuitive Canvas web editor, then perform smooth, high-resolution parameter sweeps or instant preset changes with a single movement of the treadle.
