Classic fuzz circuits are inspiring because they react to the guitar, the amp and the player’s hands, and the Warm Audio Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz pedal brings that vintage-style response into a compact Jr. format. Created in collaboration with boutique pedal manufacturer Dirty Boy Co., this all-analog fuzz recreates the boutique-modified Dirty Boy Afro Fuzz circuit with rich sustain, harmonic saturation, natural compression and dynamic cleanup. Volume and fuzz controls cover everything from smoother overdrive textures to saturated fuzz, while a six-position frequency selector expands the circuit’s voice beyond a traditional two-knob fuzz layout.

A Modified Fuzz With Expanded Voicing

Warm Audio worked closely with Dirty Boy CEO Danny Gomez to preserve the feel and sonic behavior of the original hand-built Afro Fuzz pedal. The circuit is inspired by classic British circular-style fuzz designs, then modified for more frequency control and pedalboard flexibility. The result is a fuzz that can clean up with guitar volume, respond to pick attack and produce everything from thick, low-end-heavy sustain to sharper textures that cut through a mix.

Six-Position Frequency Control

The six-position frequency selector is the key control that separates the Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz from more traditional fuzz pedals. Rotating the selector changes the overall voicing and frequency response of the circuit, letting players move between heavier, rounder fuzz sounds and brighter, more focused lead textures. Paired with the dedicated volume and fuzz controls, it gives guitarists a wider gain range for smooth overdrive, vintage-inspired fuzz, psychedelic layers and saturated leads.

All-Analog Fuzz in a Road-Ready Enclosure

Premium analog circuitry, vintage-voiced components and true bypass operation keep the Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz responsive while preserving the natural guitar and amp character when bypassed. The compact metal enclosure uses authentic Dirty Boy boutique styling and runs on standard 9V center-negative power with 1/4" input and output jacks. Hand-tested in Austin, TX, the Warm Audio Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz pedal delivers a more flexible take on vintage fuzz for players who want sustain, cleanup and frequency control in one compact stompbox.
